WooCommerce 8.0.0 was released on August 8, 2023. This release should be backwards compatible with the previous version. It contains:
- 381 commits from 54 contributors in WooCommerce Core.
- 248 commits from34 contributors in WooCommerce Blocks.
With the release of WordPress 6.3, the minimum version of WordPress required for WooCommerce was updated to 6.2. This release continues to support PHP version 7.3. WooCommerce recently announced their plan to end support for PHP 7.3, beginning with the release of WooCommerce 8.2.0, scheduled for release in October of 2023.
