I just got back from my favorite developer and sports event of the year. This was already the 4th winter edition of Magento Developers Paradise, which took place from January 11 through 14 in Kaprun, Austria, just one hour from the city of Mozart, Salzburg. I arrived already 2 days before the official event to get some extra skiing time, but the weather on Saturday and Sunday was pretty rough as you can see on this video.
On Freeride Monday my buddy Christian Philipp and I experienced the fascination of freeriding with technique and safety tips from Michi Hartweger. Every year there might be five days with perfect freeriding conditions and Michi said that this might have been one of them. The avalanche danger level on that day was 4 which is rather dangerous, but Michi made sure we were on the safe side.
On Monday and Tuesday evening the conference part took place from 8 pm to 11 pm. Although there were some pre-defined talks, we also had a couple of very interesting Barcamp style presentations.
