Openstream has joined the Bitcoin Association Switzerland as a corporate member. The association forms an active community of enthusiasts with regular events, tries to resolve open legal questions, and educate the public by providing a contact point for media inquiries.
Bitcoin has the potential not only to revolutionize online payments, but also to give control over their financial transactions and assets back to individuals, and to serve as an asset with exceptionally strong property guarantees.
Furthermore, its technology has the potential to serve as a platform for countless other services that can benefit from decentralized consensus and cryptographically secure tracking of property. As an association, it wants to pave the way for Bitcoin to flourish and unfold its full potential.
The Bitcoin Association Switzerland also partners with the University of Basel’s Center for Innovative Finance, the Swiss Finance & Technology Association and the Swiss Bockchain Federation.
We’re looking forward to contributing to the Swiss crypto and blockchain ecosystem and helping Swiss and international online merchants to accept crypto payments in their online stores. We’re mainly focussing on Open Source ecommerce solutions like WooCommerce and Magento, but are also open to helping anyone understand and integrate crypto payments.
